A compact narrow selection, Miscanthus sinensis 'Nippon' green foliage reaches heights of 4' to 5’. Pink blooms begin emerging in mid summer. A clump-forming variety, 'Nippon' is best grown in sun in moist well-drained soil.
Narrow leaves are soft and slightly pendulous producing a lush foliage clump, turning gold in fall. Blonde flower spikes just inches above the plant remain through the winter. Great single specimen. Perfect size for decorative ceramic pots.
